Making Money With Your Personal Blog

Friday, June 15, 2012 JS Hanniffy 0 Comments

I got few emails recently from bloggers asking how to make money with a personal blog. My blog itself  has only three years experience with making income - not so long ago but might be worthwhile to share my experience if you currently look for information about making money from blogging.

Before, I didn't intend to make a blog for getting income but rather than just writing my personal opinion about things. But then after awhile (nearly a year) the information of getting income from blogging spread on the internet. From there, I started to associate my blog from personal to business blog.

Hey, I've been so diligent lately, up dating my blog almost everyday and today I've been posting twice - wow! That's a very unusual of me :). And what is it now?

Just find out today that Google has something new for Google users. When I open the new tab (using Chrome) a new icon with red symbol  appears at the bottom Google search catching my eyes as it seems a good offer to try.

The Convenience Of Immigration Office Singapore

The Approval Letter was received from the agent few days later after the approval visa. As I have mentioned in the previous posting everything was very straight forward and no hassles during the visa process, and we were very happy for that.

The appointment for collecting visa was arranged about two weeks before our departure to Singapore.

We went to Rikvin office two days after our arrival. We found no hassle looking for the Rikvin address as it was located in the City area and near to the MRT. It was a quick chat between my hubby and the staff Rikvin. She checked all the documents and described anythings necessary for my hubby's visa. After few minutes later we went off to the Employment Pass office.

Getting To Know Singapore

Monday, June 11, 2012 JS Hanniffy 0 Comments

Although we have done a lot of research before coming to Singapore and myself from neigbouring country I still find Singapore is a new thing to me. First day in Singapore was the learning day. We got MRT - the Singapore train, I was totally confuse as I had no experience at all how to work out the MRT maps.

Luckily, I was with my hubby - he's very good at reading maps.  Well, compare to my Indonesian friends (oops) I'm actually pretty good at reading maps but MRT maps is just out of my league.

Singapore, Here We Come

Yeah, we're now in Singapore. Getting very excited when we arrived in the Changi International airport Singapore. Arrived a bit late and was very humid for us who were just coming from freezing country! Everything was going fine in the immigration office airport (I was told by the lady in the Etihad desk that I would probably be refused by the immigration as I only had single ticket).

Thank God that we got a taxi straight away in the airport and no need to wait as I was deadly tired and thirsty! The driver was very quite (no chat at all with the passenger. Well, that's good as I had no energy to talk - not even a single word!) - we were heading to a little india area - all the way to the Perak hotel. The distance from the Changi airport took approximately 20 minutes (if I wasn't mistaken).

Arrived in the hotel save and sound, paid the taxi driver (which is very cheap!), at the end, the taxi driver gave us smile and said: "Enjoy your holiday". Three nice words and we headed off to the reception.

The Last Minute Before Leaving

Friday, June 08, 2012 JS Hanniffy 0 Comments

We finally arrived safe and sound in Singapore on Sunday, the third of June. Departing from Dublin airport on Saturday night at 9 pm. The last few hours before our leaving Ireland everything was a tad chaotic. My hubby was still busy organizing things for the house i.e. cutting the grace, fixing the heater, calling the management, etc. I myself was (still) busy packing our stuffs.

An Indonesian friend of mine stayed over since she knew we were leaving. I only let a few people know about our leaving (mostly closed friends) , so I said no to my friend (Eka) when my she offered me a job as we were leaving Ireland the next day - she was obviously surprised about the news.

Hello bloggers,

I hope you all in a good spirit like me today. Weather in Ireland today is cloudy but it still nice and warm to wear summer dress. While waiting my hubby wake up (it's already 12.36 pm  in Ireland!), I just enjoy myself with my note book and a cup of green tea :).

The monthly note this month is about my excitement to Singapore! we'll be flying to Singapore tomorrow! Yeay! We are so looking forward to it today. Still have some things to do though.
