Day 4 (Last Day!): Four Days Throughout Sukabumi

We even more excited to do a lot of activities on the last day, like rafting in Cikadang. But we were afraid that would be tiring me out to drive back to Jakarta. My hubby doesn't really drive much in Indonesia due to the massive traffics - I prefer to drive myself anyway for very good reasons.

Rafting would be a great adventours for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but we decided to do it next time. We got the information from the lady in Lagusa that the rafting defined into three different times, at 7am, 10am and 1pm. 

There were two different category for the distances:  5-6km and 6-9km. Both distances would take hours to finish due to the area of the rafting.

So we dismissed the plan for the rafting as we want to go back to Jakarta that day. Instead of doing rafting we went to the hot spring where located 20 minutes from Lagusa.

So after having breakfast we packed again and ready to go. From Jalan Lagusa we drove straight all the way until we found the sign to Cipanas. We were passing the sign and drove through to a road with very nice scenery. We were realized that we were driving too far that we were supposed to.

The third day in Pelabuhan Ratu. We haven't decided whether we want to do the rafting or not. So we told Mbak Isma to let her know by tomorrow morning.

We decided instead to go to Sharwana beach. Got the information from one of the staffs in Lagusa that it's a 'virgin' beach so we were thinking it was gonna be a great beach.

We had the same breakfast like the other morning in the restaurant. Meanwhile the restaurant was busy enough with foreign families. We decided to leave early to go to Sharwana beach.

We both love going to beach. So that's why when we heard about Sharwana we decided to go there.

The Lagusa guy informed us that the location was about 20km or about an hour driving.

"Good morning" I said to the nature front of me. Very beautiful view and with the birds and the waves sound, I felt like listening a relaxing music. The sky was clean and blue, not too cold but breeze which made the morning was perfect.

Hubby and I went to the same restaurant in the villa. The room price was included breakfast, that was even better. We both had black coffee, my hubby had scramble egg and toasts, meanwhile I had pancakes. The breakfast delicious with perfect views front of us.

Planning to hike the mountain but decided not to because was a bit too late to do it. So, we went to the beach instead after breakfast.

While starting this writing I still feel the tiredness from our traveling to Sukabumi, but also very excited to share my story here about our trips.
So, here we go.

We planned a month ago to Pelabuhan Ratu, it's a part of Sukabumi that located in West Java. According to Google maps the distance from Jakarta to there would take over 3 hours, but always prepare longer if you drive in Indonesia!

This trip will be out first trip to Sukabumi.

Discover Indonesia With Javana Tea & ManaIndonesiamu

This morning, I attended an event, and I was very delighted to be invited to this event. The event theme was about Indonesian - how far you know about your country. As well as to introduce Javana tea that has just been 4 months in the market but it already give its significant value by reaching the top 5 brand awareness.


The event was also attended by Mr Aristo Kristandyo, Group Head of Marketing Beverages Wings food, a man who just met on the event was very friendly. As a very important person, he didn't really show it off to us. He came to us, shook our hands, smiling and saying: "thank you for coming". 




First time experienced an honor like that to me as a blogger.

According to Mr Kristandyo, Javana tea show its positive selling in the market industry.

I wasn't a big fans of tea bottle, because I think tasted was usually a bit weird. But I tried myself for Javana tea and this tea was different. 


I can say the taste was fresh and new. Unlike other product ready to drink, taste was not like tea at all. I'd prefer to drink it while it's cold. The price for Javana tea is also reasonable, Rp3,000/bottle - that's cheap, isn't it?


Back to the topic, anyway.

While talking about tea, we were also reminded about the Indonesian history: how good we know the story about our country? Well, I must admit that I was a bit embarrassed when Kang Asep - well know as a history teacher - asked few very easy questions but I couldn't think the answers very well.

That's it. I think I need to open my history books again.

Does anyone ever ever think or care about the pictures in the money? I do know.

Indonesia is such a huge country, one of the biggest country in the world. With its worthy sources it should made us not just proud but know it better than non Indonesians.

But, unfortunately the non Indonesians know more about this country than its own people.

However, not all locals have forgotten to keep the history, they even help other Indonesians to remember and learn again about Indonesia history. They are MANA INDONESIAMU and KOMUNITAS HISTORIA INDONESIA.

And yeah, I join them.

Celebrating 30 years Dunia Fantasi Ancol: Bloggers Meet & Greet Hello Kitty

The trip to Dunia Fantasi Ancol
What a fun day I had last week with the other bloggers from KEB (Kumpulan Emak Blogger) in Dunia Fantasi Ancol to celebrate Ancol 30 years anniversary. I was actually planning to go to Ancol with my house maid, Purwanti - she hasn't been to Ancol so I wanted to bring her for her holiday. 

Luckily, I got free entry tickets to go there, so that her lucky day!
I went with the other bloggers from KEB, as usual I picked them up first :D. With Maya, Novita as well as her son, and Purwanti, we left south Jakarta around 9am.

As usual I used Google maps as my guide for traveling - I'm depending so much on this apps for good reasons! The trip to Ancol went smoothly - we weren't lost at all. Surprised! Lol. Was a bit traffic on the toll to Ancol way but we had a good fun in the car at least. Arrived in Ancol before 11am which was good because we had time to look for the car park. When we got there we met the other bloggers from KEB who mostly brought their kids - good timing for them as this kids event!



Like celebrities, bloggers and journalists had own their entry gate with nice red carpet - we were honored by this (thank you Ancol's management!). Of course, I had to take a picture on this VIP entry gate for a proof :D. After registering we were brought by nice lady to the event place. On the entering building I saw the Hello Kitty picture, sure we didn't want to miss moment to take another photos again!

Dunia Fantasi Ancol & Its Social missions 
There was a lot of young kids with school uniforms when we got there. I soon knew that these the children  were living in the Ancol's area and studying in Sekolah Rakyat Ancol. The school that was established since 2004 by Ancol tbk is to help the children in education for free.



The event was opened with a group of dancers and followed by Hello Kitty which what almost kids waited for it! 
On their special event to celebrate their 30 years anniversary, Dunia Fantasi Ancol donated 200 books to the students in Sekolah Rakyat Ancol. The book was given by Agung Sudarno the General Manager of Ancol as the symbol for the donation. 

I looked back at the students that sitting behind me, they were very happy, they seemed enjoying the event and somehow made me happy too.

It's a good feeling to see these young kids can get their education and not to worrying about paying anything. If all the companies in Indonesia can do the same just like what Ancol do, it would help the education better.

Two hours had passed and time for us to get lunch. Delicious lunch was already provided, we went to the bufee that just few meters from us. Aftee lunch we took a time to went around the Wahana Hello Kitty.

We didn't want to miss the chance to go around Dunia Fantasi so with the other bloggers we looked for some adventures!
I was glad to see Purwanti seemed happy on her day off. At least I had my promise to bring her to Ancol, even better she had a chance to see Hello Kitty, her favorite one :D.

Weekend Cooking With Me: Special Red Snapper Soup

So what plan do you usually have at weekend, Moms? Anything to do? There is always a thing to do at weekend specially if you have more than one kid. Mommy usually the person that has always made an idea what to do on weekend, just like me :D. Hubby said that because there is a lot of 'tikus' that running around inside my head, that's why I always have an idea to do something, lol.

Anyway, I have the idea to cook on weekend - this the last idea if we decide to do nothing on weekend. So I decide to work out on my kitchen instead of companying hubby watching sport program all day.

Talking about beauty things are always interesting subject to many women. We could talk about it all day! I feel to more pay attention on my health and appearance in my late 30, maybe because I realize that I'm getting older now but yet I want still look pretty and young, lol. One I know that there is a good beauty clinic in South Jakarta so far is Helena beauty clinic. I've been using their services for nearly a year. With the help of experts from Helena I don't need to worry about its validity of their quality.
 
A week ago I tried their newest treatment for Facial Ozon Therapy. The facial is quiet long, about over two hours. I tried similar treatment before somewhere in East Jakarta area, but it was too expensive and the result was disappointing - I decided not to comeback again!
